Mommy enjoying baby!
One more (for now):D
Your daughter and granddaughter are so beautiful, Kim. I know you have to be bursting with pride. :) :) I hope that Jenna's dad will be a big part of her life. I'm so glad he was there.
Helen's dad and I divorced when she was two years old, but he has remained a huge part of her life, and I think we, together, have raised a very balanced, well adjusted girl. I'm sure your daughter and your granddaughter's father, with your help, will do the same thing!!!! :) :)
Gee, I'm a bit weepy after seeing the beautiful baby and her parents. Now, we just need to see YOU with that baby!!!!!! :D
What a beautiful little girl she is... :)
Thank you, thank you for all the glorious pictures.
Jenna is beautiful - and she appears to come by it naturally. Enjoy this special time in your life, Kim.
Someone passed this advice to me 14 years ago, when I was about to become a first-time grandmother - - - No matter what you do right now, it is normal - ;)
She is a beautiful little angel! Her close up pic is adorable. Congratulations Grammy! :D
Oh Kim.... she is gorgeous! Little itty bitty fingers, toes and dark curly hair! you have every reason to be proud! What a great day for you and your family!
Kim, Jenna is beautiful!!! She really started looking alert by that first burping!!! She's an absolute doll! Your daughter & Son-in-law couldn't look more proud! Congrats!
BTW, these pics are really feeding my "baby fever"!!!
Oh Kim! I am SO very happy for you:D If you are anything like I was, you are exhausted and rather in a numb zone - not quite grasping all that has happened today - the miracle and reality of it all!!! I was floating along on a surreal cloud for several days.:D Oh praise God that everyone is fine!! What a precious little creature Jenna is - so tiny and perfectly adorable:)
God Bless you Grammy Kim
The following is a favorite hymn of mine, and I could hear this melody and words in my head when we heard Misha's first cry. I sing it to her often now!
Borning Cry
Melody - "Waterlife" by John Ylvisaker
"I was there to hear your borning cry,
I'll be there when you are old.
I rejoiced the day you were baptized,
to see your life unfold.
I was there when you were but a child,
with a faith to suit you well;
In a blaze of light you wandered off
to find where demons dwell."
"When you heard the wonder of the Word
I was there to cheer you on;
You were raised to praise the living Lord,
to whom you now belong.
If you find someone to share your time
and you join your hearts as one,
I'll be there to make your verses rhyme
from dusk 'till rising sun."
In the middle ages of your life,
not too old, no longer young,
I'll be there to guide you through the night,
complete what I've begun.
When the evening gently closes in,
and you shut your weary eyes,
I'll be there as I have always been
with just one more surprise."
"I was there to hear your borning cry,
I'll be there when you are old.
I rejoiced the day you were baptized,
to see your life unfold."
