I hope that she's not left behind in Iraq! I saw an episode of Animal Precinct Texas the other evening, and with the help of
http://www.wspa.org.uk/index.php?ilocale=2
a yound pup named "Ratchet" was able to come join the soldier's family through WSPA's help. Poor pup had an old healed fracture of one of his legs, but was declared fine as it had healed up resonably well. I sure hope we'll all be hearing that Ricochette is able to get out of Iraq safely (with your husband of course)! ;) She sounds like a darling!:D

It sure would be nice if he could bring her home. I think they'll really bond over there.
I don't know what kind she is yet. I imagine she's a Heinz 57. It's not like the breed them over there - dogs are against the religion.
In his last care package, I sent a digital camera. He's pretty technologically challenged, though, so I doubt he'll figure out how to work it. If he does I'll share some pictures!

Bob emailed again, and he sent a short discription of what the puppy looks like:
"Ricki is a
mutt, she is about 18inches tall white and brown. She
has brown around her eyes like a bandits mask or
raccoon eyes. Very playful and smart, she can spot
our truck a mile away and is always waiting for us
under the same tree. Looking for treats and to play.
Hopefully we will find a vet to give her shots. One
guy already sent back to the States for flea meds and
heartworm meds. I gave her a dose of intestional
worming medicine so she is dewormed."
