I'm also glad she posted them. I'm sorry for your loss, Anna. It's been over a year since I lost my Bruno, but, it still hurts sometimes, and, I remember what it was like at first. I wouldn't wish that kind of pain on anyone.Quote:

Dear Angus, when I look in your eyes, I see see nearly 13 years of happiness. And yet I see a pain that says you were ready. You feel that pain no more. RIP Dear boy. We love you.
..... he was ready, he had a wonderful long life.
Anna and Mark, you two loved him like no others could have!
You were blessed to have such a furkid, and are blessed to have him and his sister watching over you both.
RIP Sweet Angus, play hard.
:( Kay thankyou for posting those photos, as sad as it is you could see he was ready to go. Anna Mark Roxey and Huney you will continue to be in my prayers and thoughts. {{Hugs}}
Seeing him in person like that was much more heartbreaking. In the morning, I was fine seeing him. But at our night visit, I started to cry in the vets.. but I didn't want to.
That car ride home was far too quiet. :(
Oh poor Angus, I'm glad you are free from pain now. I sure wish our pets could live forever.

Kay, thank you for sharing the pics, and Anna, thank you for allowing Kay to post them. I am sending you big hugs
It's hard to see those beautiful brown eyes in so much pain. When I had to send Leroy on the the RB, I took two pictures of him first. He could hardly sit up, he was having so much trouble breathing. Now I'm glad I have them because I know I made the right decision. The same is for Angus. The most loving thing is sometimes to let them go. I'll always remember him with his eyes shinning from happiness wearing his scarf, knowing how much he is loved!!! He can run and never get tired now!
Those pictures were so hard to see, and brought tears to my eyes. RIP Sweet Angus. :( You are no longer in pain now.
:( Those pics brought tears to my eyes...:( Poor Angus. Well, at least he is free of pain now..
RIP sweet Angus...:(
I still cannot believe he is gone..... buddy boy, you are soooo sweet, everyone loved you! You are just the sweetest dog. All I can do is cry, cry, cry. I love you, Angus. Have fun at the bridge.
Thank you, Kay, for the pictures, sad though they are!
Did the vet ever find out what caused the swelling in Angus' leg? I can't help wondering.......

This brings tears to my eyes. :( What a sweet boy, and you could see that he was ready to go to the RB. I am sure he was grateful for the loving release that Anna and Mark gave him.
HUGS to them both!
