I just have a little dinky 2-gallon tank with two tetras - He-Man and She-Ra.
I have been on the lookout for a 10 or 20 gallon tank, I'd LOVE to have more fish (and give the ones I have more room). Anyone recommend any good brands/makes of tanks? I need something with a quiet air pump, 'cause the one I have now buzzes a lot.
I used to have a beta, Swimmy. :(
wow you all have very nice fish!!! what do you feed your oscars?
I just sold one today. to some guy.
do you just feed them feeder fishies?
FYI, I was told not to feed my guys feeder fish because of disease. My three are meat eaters, but I buy them frozen stuff. When you put feeder fish in your tank whatever problems they had, now the whole tank will have. That's why there are so many dead feeders in the tanks at pet stores. That's the same reason you should quarantine any new fish. Just a little word of advice :) I know that once you have a sick fish it's hard to keep the illness from the others. My aquarium is a ton of work. I think it's harder than my dogs and birds to care for.Quote:
