I love Quarter Horses, I grew up around them and I love riding them. I also like the look of Arabians, but I didnt like riding my horse Bandit's Little Lena (Poco Lena) as much as I liked riding Quarter Horses, so I guess I will stick to Quarter Horses.
Here is a pic of Sweet Snazzy (Sweet), the Quarter Horse that I showed this year when Austin got hurt;

The link I posted doesn't work now. Luckily, I found that pic yesterday at work. I had to search for about an hour on that huge site and finally found it. I'm so glad I have a good memory. It's the mama on the left

I have never seen a horse with these colorings and would love to have one just like it. It's part paint and some kind of draft or percheron.
I adore Paints....
My uncle breeds them, and I got to name one of his newest foals, and he said once shes old enough and etc.,, I could come over and ride her any time I wanted to, and she could be considered mine. I named her Moonlight River, and we call her River for short.
She's a black and white overo paint filly.
I LOVE Palominos! They always have been and always will be my favorite. I leased a horse named Corky De Leo then I bought my horse Sunrise Dreamer. They were both palominos. They have to be quarter horse Palominos though. And yes, they Palomino is a breed now not just a color.

My horse was out of the Hollywood Gold lines and I think I will forever have horses from that line. I am just very drawn to that rich golden color and the snow white manes and tails of Palominos. :D
I love Palominos and Quarter Horses, Morgans and Paint Horses too.
Here is my daughter getting on Sunny the Palomino QH for her riding lesson.

I LOVE Arabian horses!! I have mentioned this before in another thread, I had a horse way back in high school, almost 30 years ago!:eek: Well actually, I got my first horse in 7th grade, she was part Arabian and part Welsh pony. Her name was Daisy. I had her about 2 years, I sold her and got a registered 1/2 Arabian and 1/2 American Saddlebred. Her name was Tobin Lige, Toby for short and was actually descended from the famous Kellogg Arabians. I also had a friend at that time who had a registered 1/2 Arabian, 1/2 Tennessee Walker. His registered name was Copanion Fiero South America. He was called Cofisa for short.
Aaaaahhhhhhhh, those were the days!!!:)
