I always wondered, though never thought to ask, how exactly do you pronounce daschound? (sp?) and also, how do you pronounce Gigi? I always though jee jee (as in juno) but today my friend said gee gee (as is goat)

Dachshund is pronounced dacks-hoond (the 'oo' as in book), but I usually use dash-hound as they spend most of their days dashing about the place :)

I'd say Jee Jee for Miss Gigi, but Jen can confirm or deny that for us :)

She's so long, and oh so cute

As for me, I have no clue what the CORRECT pronounciation of dachshund is. :o

And her name is pronounced as "gee gee" or "g g" or "jee jee" or "naughty girl" or "sausage"... I can go on forever. LOL. :D
