As they are supporting their children both financial and emotionally...I say good on them :D
There are many children who are ignored and/or abused by their 'parents', even some rich families will ship their children to boarding school 75% of the time. Why have a child and ship them off to be raised by teachers :confused:
I argue that these children spending 100 % of time at home with their mum will probually receive as much time & attention, as a normal child with working parents.
As bedrooms go, sharing a big bedroom with 7 other siblings might not be 'normal' but I shared a room with my sister and to be honest, once you are sharing a room the numbers don't matter.
The only concern I might have, is that all children need to interact with other children outside the family.
So I hope the mother encourages them to have friends outside the family, in addition to their many siblings. :)

Yuck!:p I think I would shoot myself. I'm not much for kids anyway........so I could never imagine. I see three kids as too much. I'm 35 and have none, well my furkid Sash of course. I see nothing wrong with having 20 cats though!:)

I think they should Adopt. Not to sound all sappy or anything, but, There are alot of children who have nothing. Instead of shooting out kids...ADOPT!! Lots of kids are homeless!

Eek! My mom came from a family of six kids, and I thought that was too many! :eek: I too, think that is way too many kids for someone to be having; no matter the situation.

Actually I wouldn't be happy to be that mom or one of thse kids..I don't know why.. I'm happy that in our family we're just two kids, me and my sister..

I come from a family of eight kids. We all got love/attention, etc. We had 2.5 baths growing up. We are all college educated. None of us have spent any time in jail (at least not that anyone has told me about). We are all fully contributing members of society.
While it might not be your thing, if it works for these people, and they aren't on the state's tab......;)
