I think Noah is the only one that has a color-changing nose. When he's calm, its a lighter color, when he's being "krazy kitty", its red! We call that his alter-ego, "Noal". ;)
Cupcake's nose is black, so it doesn't change color. That's a really neat phenomenon though!! I'll definitely be watching for it next time I come across a light colored kitty.
Yes, I think that is the exact reason the color becomes darker.Quote:

Pixel has a very dark gray nose so I really can't tell the difference and Randi has a pink nose ... that does change colour, now that I think about it (with pink nose kitties, it could be the amount of blood in the capillaries on the nose - like when humans blush or go red with anger and our cheeks go red)
I notice that my Nipo's nose is most pink after we take her out the carrier when she has been in the car to go to the vet. The reason her nose is pink is that she has been meowing non-stop and is quite irked at her hoomans. ;) How could we be so cruel!
LOL .... yes, how could those hoomans dare to take kitties to the White Coats!Quote:

I've been watching Pouncer's nose ever since, and I am happy to announce that it ranges from Light salmon to very deep slamon. Allen's goes from nearly whitish pink to a rosey color. Thats too cool! Thank you for pointing that out.
