Its also ok if it takes a while for a name to come to you. I adopted this cute little siamese/tortie mix from the shelter 20 years ago (wow - has it really been that long? ) - it took me three weeks to come up with the right name for her. I named her Lucy.

I loved the one someone suggested "Cricket"... Sorry, but Joseph beings a lot of wonderful memories that had a tragic end for me.
-
How about Rueben,Jensen, orlando,Tyson, thats all I can think of for now. cheers and good luck with choosing, there are many fine suggestions on here. let us know what she choses.:)

Male calicos do exist. There was one as COTD about a year ago. Genetically, they have two X chromosomes and one Y chromosome. This extra makes them sterile, and is usually lethal, but occasionally one survives.
Anyway, names. Hmm. For some reason Van Gogh comes to mind. A painted cat.

Tiger , George , Sibad , Leseter , Mister , or Whiskers . Scrappy was my pal , and would be a tribute to one of the nicest Cats , ever.
-
We had a calico cat when I was growing up and her name was simply "Calico". I always thought it was perfect.
-
I told her them all, I don't know if she decided yet, I shall let you all know;)
-
I just called her and she decided to go with Razz! She loved it, thanks to rpcathouse!
BUT Other names that came really close were Tootsie, Jensen, Scrappy and Joseph/Joey.
