We just bought the Dyson animal also. So far it works wonders, Angus even lets me vacumn him with it:p
Yep! I use a Dyson - it works really well.
As Kirsten says though - a damp cloth rubbed over any surface picks up really well, if you don't happen to have a great vacuum cleaner.
I was going to ask this same question as we really need a new one.
I have seen the Dysons and have heard good things about them. They are a little pricey though. Just to let you know we cannot get the canister model in the US. they only sell the uprights.:( I have seen them on the UK site and they look really cool.
