Our Jessica lived the first few years of her life as a feral and we have never heard her purr. She is happy to share the comforts of our home, but doesn't totally trust us. The girls both purr, in fact you can probably hear Daisy from where you are. :D If I ever hear Jessica purr I will let EVERYONE know!
