Lily is the copy cat! :) Luna is always the one who's laying down first, and Lily wants to be with her. Luna must be some kind of role model to Lily, she really adores her! :)
Another thing is pretty obvious. Except for the first picture, you'll see that Lily always has Luna covering her back. I think this might give her the feeling of being protected. BTW, she already slept like this with her brother as a baby:

Yes, their markings are very different. Lily's stripes are so close that as a kitten, her back appeared to be completely black.
And yes, sirrahbed, unfortunately, Luna is overweight. The i/d diet she had to eat recently made it even worse. She needs to get the r/d diet as soon as her bowels have recovered. :(

Luna is just fine with her extra fluffiness. Allen says that extra tummy flub makes for extra loving.
