Gee it was great to read all about these big hunk of loving men out there, who are just big softies with hearts of gold, No I did not get to talk to my son's friend, but I am thinking maybe if Lexie shows no interest in that playmat I won(another thread) I might just offer it to him for his kitten, I wonder what he calls it? I said to my son, I saw him kissing his kitten, he said nothing wrong with that he loves his cat, I couldn't agree more.
P.S got to remember he hand raised kitty from a baby, it was too young to be away from its mother,don't know the full details here, so kitty will think of him as its mother, and won't want to be without him, so cute.

I wouldn't push it with him and another cat.
Think about it. Right now he's so into his kitty. Another wouldn't permit him to carry them both around with him, together. The one would loose attention; they might fight.
He's a teenager and it might be too much for him to deal with. Before you find a good person with whom to place a kitty, make certain they have a good home. What would his parents or roommates say?
I'm glad he's loving that baby, though. I also hopes he's making a life-long bond. I'm worried about what might happen if he goes away to college...

OOPS sorry I meant to type playmat, I sure am not giving away any kittens, heck I would have to keep them, sorry about the mis-print, BTW he is no teenager , he would be around 22, same age as my son, lol.
I know what you mean, I alway' worry when young people adopt pets, because they often go overseas or whatever, but still he loves kitty so much, I am sure it will go everywhere with him if possible if not, he would find a good home, there is always my place, oops did I say that, thank goodness hubby is not here to hear that!! phew.:) :D

This type of story just makes me all mushy inside!!! He sounds alot like one of the nice young men who brought two kitties to me to find homes for. (They were dumped at his place of business)He stayed talking about them for the longest, it was obvious he hated to say goodbye to them!!! ;)

What wonderful stories! It's always nice to warm your insides. My sweetie is a dog person, well atleast he was when I met him. But now he claims all the cats are his!LOL!
