I don't like the update:(
We'll rev up our pravers here--many warm thoughts and prayers coming to you and Cami from PA.
I hope your mom can do something about the payment too-ouch!
Maybe they will work something out with her.
Aww, poor Cami:( I'll be praying for her! Hope she gets better soon.
I don't know if that is worse than Parvo, but Dana my Rottweiler got Parvo when she was about 4 months old. She had been given all her shots, so I thought she was safe. When she started throwing up and had diarhea, I could not figure out for the life of me what was wrong. So I started researching Parvo on the internet and it said that her breed was really susceptiable to Parvo. I kept thinking no that couldn't be what was wrong. I took her to the vet over here and he comfirmed my worst fears. She did indeed have Parvo. He wanted to keep her in the hospital for 2 or 3 days and charge me around 600 dollars, I just didn't have it. So I told him that he would just have to give me her medicine and let me treat her at home.
He gave her a shot before we left for the nausea and vomiting and told me not to give her another until the next morning. So I took her home with two extra shots for the vomiting, and some kind of stuff to mix and pour down her to keep her from getting dehydrated.
When I got her home I set her little hospital room up in my living room, and put me a mattress on the floor and stayed up with her for the next two nights. But that night she was still vomiting so I went ahead and gave her another shot. I got up just every few minutes and would put a syringe of the liquid down her throat. She was better by the next morning, even wanted to eat something, though I didn't give her anything but the liquid that day. But she got better. My point is Dana was very sick, and Cami is very sick, so don't you lose hope with Cami!! Cami has a vet caring for her so she is in the best of care, the very best of care.
I will keep her in my prayers, and I know everybody here are praying like crazy for you and your sweet Cami. Wouldn't hurt to pray for your mom too. I know this has to be hard on her too. Mother don't like to see their little girls hurting and worrying, I know that for a fact.

aww so sorry, but I highly doubt the egg had ANYTHING to with it, unless its bad when when mixed with kibble  my dogs get at least 2 raw eggs every single day. anyway prayers and white light and cami gets better
a word of advice, many vets lie to get more money, this recently happend to happys breeder. the vet told her that her dog had cancer, so she had done thousands of dollers worth of tests, etc.. took him to another vet only to find out there was not 1 single trace of cancer, the dogs leg near his shoulder was broken. dont just take one vets word for it, spirit was nealy PTS because of the so called "cancer" this vet STILL insists that there is cancer, the lady who owns the dog is a professinal nurse by the way she is not stupid and know what everything in the system is, and what things mean. I would be very wary of the vet just in case, and get a second opinion.
I know how horrible it is to have your baby sick. I hope she gets better soon. I know exactly how you feel, believe me.
Im so sorry that poor Cami has to be sick! :(
Im sending LOTS of prayers your way!
P.S. GET WELL SOON CAMI!
Oh Amber I'm so sorry to hear about Cami! Please know that Cami, you and your family will be in prayers tonight. Hopefully the vet can come up with some good news soon. Most vets are really great at letting clients pay off their bills with installments, I'm surprised your's said no.
Tray does have a point about vets. Is it possible for a second opinion or is it too late??
Im not too sure, i think they want to keep her.. Im just too afraid to move her and something will happen, and i will regret taking her somewhere else..
Thanks for your kind words everyone, i really hope they work.. Im just so scared.. :(
Miracles do happen. I just went through this with my foster baby Nakita. The vets even said she had a poor chance of survival but she made it. I know it was the love she received that pulled her through the ordeal, so if you are able to visit Cami, I would go do that as often as you can. Their mental health is almost as important as their physical health.
Prayers are still coming.
Aw, Im sorry about Cami.I know what its like when it seems like they're just pumping throw up out, my cat did that.I think she'll be ok.I knew a guy who had salmonella and he ended up being fine.
Best wishes for Cami's recovery!
OH no! Not sweet Cami! :(:(:(
Prayers are on the way for both you and Cami. I hope she gets better soon!
Look at all those prayers, just stacking on top of each other. I think she is in good hands as far as prayer go. Don't you worry.
We are all pulling for Cami.
Now we need Cinder and Smoke on the case.

So sorry for you and little cami, It is hard, when your baby is sick. I got my fingers crossed that little Cami will be ok.
Do you know if he is still running test on Cami?
I went through the same thing, when Jojo was sick with Pancratitus. I thought she was dead. She was put on an I.V as soon as we got her To his office. Jojo was there for almost a week. She made it and is fine now. I still have to watch her diet.
He let us pay weekly for a month on her bill.
I know you are afraid for cami. I would give you a hug if I could. Please keep us updated.
