he was turning 5 this january :(... He was almost 5.

That's an incredibly long life for a hamster. You were very lucky to have him for so long, as he was lucky to have you! :)

Awww.. not Spur!! :(:( I'm so sorry about Spur, Jynnelle. He lived a long and happy life with you, and he couldn't have had a better 'mom' than you.
