None in the immediate area, but by Lake Champlain there's Champ, and the New Jersey Pine Barrens have the Jersey Devil, after whom the hockey team is named.
I did a search about Florida Monsters and came up with this:http://www.meta-religion.com/Paranor...a_serpents.htm
Apparently, we've had sea serpents in Lake County in the St John's river.

Just did a search on Utah monsters...Apparently we have some. lol http://www.aliendave.com/UUFOH_Creatures.html
Here's one that I had heard of, but just forgot about...
Bear Lake, located northeast of Salt Lake City on the Utah-Idaho border, is a popular recreation spot for boating, fishing and camping. The stunning turquoise-colored lake, known as the "Caribbean of the Rockies," is also home to large, snake-like monsters that have been spotted for generations. The Shoshoni Indians may have been the first people to see the creature. Describing it as serpentine with short legs, tribe members claimed to have seen the Bear Lake Monster spurt water and to occasionally crawl ashore. It was even seen to snatch unwary swimmers in its jaws and carry them away beneath the surface, according to their stories.
Yea, my brother.
lol me too!Quote:
