Thanks for the link, Richard. If I understand that correctly the Moon is not rotating at all, but keeping the denser side closest to Earth, and wobbling slightly.

And I thought it was a bunch of penguins in spacesuits walking around up there!

No, the penguins are on the south pole and it's too cold to fire them spacewards with rocket boosters :) The man on the moon keeps one face of the moon towards Earth, so he can see the reality show we call Life ... ;)
