My first car was a black 1976 Monte Carlo with red interior....it was huge! We always called it the Pimpmobile. :)
Then I had a crappy Sky Hawk for a while that we called the Sky Rat. It sucked.
Then a 1986 red Honda Civic hatch back....the best car ever! That was Zippy Wagon.
Now I drive a 1995 black Honda Del Sol and she's called Bad Kitty.

All 3 of our cars have names..........given by my brother and dad.......

My current car is a Saturn. His name is C. K. Dexter Haven (after the Cary Grant character in "The Philadelphia Story".)
My previous car, the '85 Mercury Topaz that got totalled a few years back was my "Baby Boy".
For the life of me, I don't remember my previous car's name ... it was an orange and white Ford though...

I have always named my cars.
Scotty the Highlander is my current reliable friend.
All of my friends call him Scotty.

Now I remember....
We call our gold car, "The gold car"
and when we had our silver car " the silver car".:p
We also call the fmaily business, "The Building".

My ver first truck was a '66 Chevy. My Dad got a great deal on Gray Bottom Paint (For Boats. Gauranteed not to grow algae or barnacles!) so we painted it Gray and called it "The Gray Ghost".
Then there was my old rust bucket Chevy truck... Hank. Hank was a tank and I miss him. Then there was Chevy truck #3 that was Blue Betty, and then there was my S10 that was Clyde.
My current vehicle is a Toyota Corolla her name is Nelly Bean. It's the very first "Car" I have ever owned and I love her to pieces!
-
My first brand-new car was a Honda Accord named "Jane Honda". My next car didn't get a name, I'm not sure why.
My current car, a red PT Cruiser, has recently been christened "Red Rhonda" because I like playing surfer music with the windows down and the sun roof open. Singing along to "Help me, Rhonda" by the Beach Boys does wonders for my mood!
Of course, PT Cruiser stands for "PetTalk Cruiser!" :D :D :D
-
I LOVE those PT Cruisers - all the glamour of a retro-looking "vintage" style car with the convenience and reliability of a new car!!!
My best ever car was a VW VR6 - it had amazing power and handling- but I was always getting speeding tickets in it!!! The day we sold it I cried the whole way home, and I still miss it 3 years later!
I drive a Metallic ORANGE Hyundai Santa Fe (hard to miss - my son finds it VERY embarrassing! Haven't gotten around to naming it yet - anyone got any suggestions?????
-
My first car was an '82 Olds Forenza, that was a 4-cylinder car running on three. You may have heard of the Olypiam Florence Griffith-Joiner, or, Flo-Jo? My car was named as her opposite, No-Go!
After that I drove my parents full size Brown Dogde Ram Van, and called that the Big Brown Box ( that was before everyone wanted to "race the van"!)
I never named the Mustang or the Corsica, and not my truck, the first car I ever bought myself is most often known as, Stupid-truck-is-acting-up-again!
-
My very first car was a 1979 Olds Omega.... it was SWEET!!!
All my friends just called it "The Omega"
Then I had a Cavalier named "Sequecha"
Now I have a Camaro named "Roxanne" and a Chevy Blazer named "Babe" My friend has a Grand Am Named "Spike" (after Spike from Buffy) and before that she had a 92 Dodge Shadow named "Pixie" and her boyfriends new Pathfinder is "Adam"
I'm so glad to hear so many people name there cars! My hubby thinks I'm NUTS!!!!!
-
My grandmom named her car Buba.:p
We call our cars The van and The blazer. My dads truck is just dads truck.:p
-
The only car I ever named was my first car which was a white 1980 Chevette and I named her Cleo. That was the only car that had enough personality to be named! lol
-
We have a 98 civic that we call the "rice rocket".
Our 2001 GMC Sierra doesn't have a name, but it deserves one! I love that truck.
Mike's motorcycle is nicknamed "The Mistress"
-
Yup! My previous car was an old second hand one. My kids called it "mommy's tractor' and I called it my "bolleke" (sweet little ball)
-
Mine's Millie, named after my grandmother who died about 6 months before I bought the car.
