I'll just need to know what weekend so I can put in for the time off at my part-time job.
And I'll need directions too. I am what you'd call "Geographically Challenged" :p

Uh, Kim??
There's been a little change of plans. I caught the mama of the kittens tonight and it looks like she's not at all feral. Which means once she's checked out at the shelter, I'll probably be fostering her. That puts me at my limit of 9.
Please check out some of the sites I posted. Maybe they can help. Hope you're not mad. :(
I took in a 3 legged cat. Found her at a rest stop in Oklahoma nearly frozen. He ears were ever frozen off! She now lives in San Diego, California with my sister who graciously adopted her from me. She now lives in luxury and will never be cold again. She is as fat as a house now and the 3 legs she does have are strong as can be. She is very happy and has given us alot of joy.
Welcome to Pet Talk, Lele, and bless you.
I'm sorry I am just now reading and responding to this.... as I posted on the General board ... I lost a foster kitty yesterday to Rainbow Bridge...so I've not been online as much.
Anyway, thanks sooooo much for the very kind offers to transport and/or adopt the Manx boys .... hubby and I plan to just let them become permanent family members with us ..... GOD, please send us some acreage soon.... LOL!!!!
Here are some pics I took of these precious boys yesterday ...

Cuteness overload!!! They are just too cute for words. It's amazing how animals can adapt to different situations. One of our Humane Society volunteers adopted a 3-legged dog and that dog can outrun anyone on the agility course.
Welcome Marty and Mercy. We look forward to seeing many more pictures of your sweet facies.:) :)
Oh Kim.
I am SO sorry about your RB kitty!! I hope that your fosters will bring you much love and happiness during your time of grief! That 3 legged kitty is just precious!!!
A very warm welcome to Marty and Mercy, already you have touched my heart and many other PT people.
We are so looking forward to hearing all about your new life with Kim, BLESS YOU KIM, for taking these two sweeties in.
I think I can safely say WE ALL LOVE YOU BOTH already right folk"s?
Kim you are a wonderful person! All three of your new additions are adorable. The next time I'm heading towards middle TN I would love to see your ever growing fur family.
Are you close to Nashville??
I hoped someone very special would give Marty and Mercy a forever home.
AND SOMEONE DID! Thank you Kim :) :) :)
Thank you everyone! Jazzcat ... I am in Murfreesboro... I'd love a visit from you anytime! :)
Excellent news. These babies deserve a good home.
A friend of mine has a dog who lost a leg after a road accident and it hasn't ever slowed her down. She just gets on with life. I'm sure your beautiful kittens are the same.
I'm so pleased we'll be able to see more pictures of these adorable boys.:D
Kim - I went to MTSU for three years from 85-88 before transferring to UT to finish. I live in Knoxville now but did live in Nashville (next to Hickory Hollow Mall) for two years right after I got married.Quote:

We occassionally drive to Nashville to just see how things have change and hit a few of our favorites spots.
