The only problem I have is when I need to get up to make a nighttime run to the bathroom, it can be difficult to inch out without disturbing the dog on my right or the dog on my left or my husband. Then when I come back, it seems my spot on the bed has disappeared and I have to wedge myself back in.
We do have pet beds at our house as well. Two in the bedroom, one aside of the bed and the other on the other side of the room. Every once in a while Tucker will want a little more space, especially if I toss too often. He'll jump down and sleep on one of the dog beds, but when I wake up, he is back in the bed. The other dog beds are in the kitchen and family room for occasional daytime lounging. But the recliner (with or without a human) gets the most use during the day.
