I'm so sorry to hear about Maddie. It really sounds like you did everything you could to save her, but in the end you did what was best for her. But really, how could you not after she rolled her eyes at you and everything. :( ;) :(
But I know that even though you know it was best, it still hurt that you couldn't help. RIP sweet Maddie, and hugs to you Smokey for being there for her until the very end. :(

Awww. I'm so so sorry to read about Maddie. I know it's such a terribly hard thing to go through. The only consolation is now she's healthy and happy with all the other furkids and that you loved each other very very much. (Hugs)
