Oh my goodness you guys! All of these pictures are precious! I cannot get over them. They have brought the BIGGEST :D to my face.
Aly, I admire you so much for helping out at that shelter. I need to find one near me that I can volunteer at. That would be so great. Jackie (jackiesdaisy1935) sent me the link to Best Friends Sanctuary ( http://www.bestfriends.org ). You can go and volunteer there and I plan on doing that with my next vacation. It is only a 6 hour drive from me so I want to go up there for 3 or 4 days and volunteer. They have ALL animals. It would be so awesome to work with horses, dogs and cats and bunnies, and birds and whatever else they have! I am now going to be getting involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters but I should still have time to volunteer once a week or so at a shelter. The only problem is that I can't bring them home like you do Aly. You are so lucky :)
Thank you for sharing all of your pics everyone. Your fur-kids are SOOOOO PRECIOUS! Daisy rocks! Honey and Lilly are amazing, Fritz, Hans and Rocky are gorgeous and cute.... God, I can't say enough! Tanya, I want to put Rocky on the Rainbow Bridge page I'm working on, is that okay?
KayAnn, I WANT SIMBA! Gosh, you are so lucky! Your pictures are incredible and Luke is such a cutie! You can tell he and Simba bonded so well!
Okay, enough... I could go on forever.

Okay I know Daisy isn't any of the dogs you asked to see, but I can't help but post her little houndy face here anyway :)
Daisy is soo cute!! I would NEVER get tired of seeing her!!
Ummm... we don`t know what kind of dog she is.
And Daisy has a Boyfriend?? :)

Of course. I would be honored.

Tanya, Rocky was a gorgeous little guy! Fritz and Hanz are simply precious as always.
Buddy, Paula and Pup are an adorable crew! What a great-looking, happy family :)
And yes, Daisy has a boyfriend :) He lives down the street and is my best friend's dog. They kiss each other on the nose :)

Wow Aly, I can't believe how many Rotts come into the shelter. It's so sad. :( Why would you get a dog and not plan on keeping it for the next 10 or even 20 years (depending on the breed of course).
-
Yup its sad. More rotts and shepherds come in than anything. We have a beautiful rottie in right now named Sable. At least the rotts usually get adopted a lot faster than the pits. It takes on average 3-4 months for each of our pits to be placed into a qualified, loving home.
