We have to find a way to get Zippy some wings!!!
BWs are just chix wings marinated in a mild or spicy/hot sauce and cooked. It's like eating ribs....messy and fun when you try to grab your drink. They were created in Buffalo, NY..
You HAVE to try them with all the sides-
(Kfamr is a wing snob!!!!;)) then make up your mind....
I went to sleep last night thinking about that flight, and woke up this morning still excited about it..
Ramanth-
a heartbeat is way too long to wait!!!!
let's GO......NOW!!!!!!!!!!!:)
i want to fly!
Gimme a few more of those red slushy things and I'll give it a go.......

guess what we are doing next thursday???;)
Richard,
Hypothetically speaking of course, but would you be willing to
do a sky dive from a reasonable highth , if someone did actually
challenge you ? Sort of make a deal to jump at the same time?
No wings involved, just good parachutes.....:D :D
as my dad would say, 'no question about it!!'Quote:

all me friends have their feet firmly rooted on the ground......
so finding some one to go with has been difficult.

the world record is something like 120,000 feet.....
my state or yours????
;)
We have a flying area at Thursdays? Wow. We got it all! :eek:Quote:

you bet!
just as i finished typing my earlier post i saw that Rita Crosby, the FOX news anchorperson, was able to do a tandem (hooked on to another person) jump with the US Army parachute team, the Golden Knights!
I hate her!!!;)
and i made a mistake- the record for a hi altitude jump is 102,800
feet-around 20 miles up.......as i was looking for that info i came across a woman who plans to jump from 130,000 feet (around 25 miles up)......as i read her bio it stated all her vital statistics..
age, martial status and such........when it listed her children it said......one dog, and eleven cats.........
11 cats??? that's daring!:)
Buffalo wings for me! I had a friend in high school that died skydiving. Not only that, I hate heights! lol
Love Ranch dressing, but not on the wings themselves. Dip the celery.
Richard,
Yes, finding someone to go with has been my problem as well.
I had one friend who agreed to go, thought it would be great,
etc., than backed down when it came time to make concrete
plans to actually sign up for the jump. I'd like to do the jump in
California if that's o.k. Best time for me would be this fall (Oct.?)
I would only do a tandem jump, as I have no clue what is really
involved, lessons wise. Found this place to check out times &
jump centers in Ca. http://www.skydiving.com/ I want to visit
my son in Ca. this fall & will be in the San jose area. What'cha
think?
p.s. I figure I need time to make a will & relatives around to pick
up the body if it's not a good experience. :D :D
don't ask what i think.....you'll get in trouble!!!Quote:
