Still won't work...Ill try uploading them..
If that doesn't work, I give up
There are 2.54cm in an inch. You really should get some 'tiel food. I'm baffled that there would be a store that carries Cockatiels but nothing to feed them.
If this is actually the case, we can find a lot of places you can order it online, I'm sure. :)
For some reason a couple of the pics aren't where I saved them. I'll do a virus check tomorrow :(
So this is all I have for now to show..Sorry for the size, it wouldn't let me resize them..

Compared to Frisco..

...bar spacing looks too big to me, and PCB said "They shouldn't be *squares*", which they are.
Okay, well the top and side spaces are only 1.7 cm, so that's less than half an inch, right? lol, I'm so stupid.Quote:

The store isn't the one with the birds. It's just this really cheap store I'm in love with lol. Welk Mart. Mr. Welk is my hero LOL.
I should go to wal mart, I bet they are cheaper than petcetera...ok, everything is cheaper than petcetera
I had a feeling the cage would look like that. :o PLEASE do NOT house a tiel in that cage. It could kill him. The metal does not *look* like the type that is safe for birds. It has squares and the squares look WAY too big for a little tiel. A little birdie could get his/her head stuck in there. :( Nope, I do NOT recommend using this cage for a bird AT ALL. If you're getting a tiel, start cage shopping as well. :o
I wouldn't feed a tiel budgie seeds. Its not bad for them....its alright for them to eat, but its not enough for a tiel's nutritional needs. They only have millet and tiny seeds. The birds won't get what they need. If that store doesn't sell cockatiel food, shop on www.petco.com or www.petsmart.com. Plenty of tiel food available on both sites. Even Safeway sells tiel seeds around here. They are a very popular pet. They sell their food everywhere.
I second that. Lachie and Austin are expert little climbers. They follow people around the room, climbing up and down the bars, using their beaks and feet...lmao, it cracks me up to see them sliding down the bars like little firemen :DQuote:

It took Austin awhile to get the hang of it though. She used to lose her balance and wing it onto the floor of the cage.
Hum...I suppose I'll give the bird Frisco's cage. I'll find a way to put the levels in Frisco's cage inside the big cage...
The bird cages here are too expensive to buy, I'll need to save up another 500 dollars  I've never even seen 500 dollars :(
I'll go to safeway and get some tiel seed. My mom doesn't want me to buy off the internet. She's one of those people who doesn't like to get involvred with anything she doesn't understand..We also don't have a credit card anways, so I guess it could be harder.
I have a pic of Frisco's cage...lemme find it..
Frisco's is the one on top. i'll take out the levels. All three cages on the bottom are Icarus's. Spolied brat. :p
From the side..
I think that cage will work better
that is a nice looking cage for a rabbit of guinea pig lol I am not sure about a rat or a tiel though. the tiel might get its head stuck in the squares of the bars... possible. !!
I just read that a good base for a cockatiel diet is half budgie seed and half canary seed, so that's what I'll do, but I'll also mix in pellets. That's just the base though, I'll add in much more. :)
I'm doing alot of research and so far, I'm partial to the males, so I'm hoping that's what I get. But I guess I'll get what I get, I can't really be too picky. :(
hee hee you are making me want another teil!! I woujldent house it with Cheeko or let it even meet cheeko EVER!!! lol Cheeko tends to rub off on new bird and he teaches them to be mean and wild :(. Cheeko is a bum. I miss spanky, he was my baby, now my mom has birds and I dont, I want a love bird sooo bad.. they are so pritty.
