Aly, this is a great day for Julius! and Shiloh. Yes, it will be quieter, but you know the saying "when a door closes a window opens - and in comes another four legged creature that needs your help." Isn't that how it goes? http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif This just means that you'll have to visit the vet staff for updates. Bug stops by the vets office for treats and to say "Hi" often. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif chin up, its a great day to rescue another! (and a wonderful evening for snuggling with Shiloh and Reece.!)

That's such a cute photo of Julius!! No wonder your vet tech fell in love! http://www.plauder-smilies.de/love/pinklove2.gif
That's a very good idea RachelJ had about telling your vet tech about PetTalk. Then we can all "hold on to" Julius!
Hooray for Julius! A home. A home!

Someone's gonna need to push me out this door http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif I came home from school early "sick" but I might just be sad. I'm gonna play with him for an hour or so then take him to her. After that I'll probably go visit Benji to keep my mind off of Julius.
I also think its great that a vet tech is getting him. I offered to have him neutered for her but she said she already has the appointment for him and she'll be there tending to him the whole day.

Aly...That is terrific news about Julius! It sounds like he couldn't be going to a better place. Maybe she'll even let you visit him from time to time. I agree with Sammi, I see another pet in the crystal ball for you! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

Well I just dropped him off http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif I couldn't even control myself and was crying right in the vet's office. Two receptionists and the vet tech are taking care of him right now. They love him and I sent him with a lot of toys and his bed so he'll feel more comfortable. I miss him so much http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif

Its okay to be sad, Aly. its even okay to cry. not a silly thing in the world to feel. You have done what was right for Shiloh. You put his feelings first and that takes courage and bravery. It also makes you a wonderful caring cat mom. Shi will let you know just how much he appreciates it by purring you to sleep tonight. And tomorrow - being another day - will bring a new rescue adventure your way. Cuz your the best! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

Don't be sad Aly, Julius will be happy at his new home. It's normal and okay to miss him, but you know it was best for him! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif
Be sure to do what Rachel said, tell her about Pet Talk. Then we'll get to see (or at least hear about) him grow up. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

Oh, Aly, we'll shed a few tears with you tonight. http://www.plauder-smilies.de/crying2.gif

That's the hard part of fostering. That's why I can't do it just yet. Maybe someday. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

Okay, everyone's saying, what's this cat person doing on the dog side? He he. Actually, I just got Freckle's email and was going to check out the dog posts to see what she meant about birthdays, when I happened to see this post. Aly, I surely never would have felt like that little baby had been "dumped" on me! I'm glad he's going to a loving home, but I am a little wistful 'cause he's such a cutie, and it's been along time since I had a yellow kitty. But my house is already full like you say, so this is probably best for him. And you will get to keep in touch with his new mommy, so that's good, too. But I know you'll miss him. Like I said in my email to you earlier today when you sent me the update on Julius, bless you for fostering him!

Aly, I am so happy you found a good Home for sweet little Julius. My black Female is also very territorial. She somewhat tolerates my other Female but absolutely hates the Male. Hissing and spitting or staring him down. She won't even let him pass by to get to his Food. Luckily he is submissive with her and avoids a Catfight. Now Shilo will get more Attention and you will be less stressed out.

Hi everyone. Its very quiet here tonight. Shiloh's really happy though. She keeps coming up to me saying "mrow mew". Maybe she's saying "Thank you!". I called the girl who has Julius 2 times today but I couldn't catch her. I'll give it 2 days and then call and see how they're doing. I told her not to feel bad if she changes her mind and wanted to return him back to me. I spent 3 hours with Benji and Piper today and they helped me keep my mind off things. Since Reece has obedience on Tuesdays, I get Piper ahead for the Thursday class since I know what we're going to do. It works and she's always right at the top of the class. In fact, she has sit, down, stay, shake all down pat so I worked on crawl and roll over with her today. Now jumping she needs MAJOR work on. I'm getting off topic though, as usual. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif
