Bryon: how is your kitty doing? Any updates?
This is the hardest part of having these wonderful creatures in our lives. I can't advise you on what to do since each situation is unique.
Since Baby Jane isn't eating, you don't want to delay too long in your decision.
I'm so sorry for these sad times. If nothing else, spend as much time as possible with her:(
Bryon.....PLEASE give us an update!!!!
I'm sorry I've been on vacation, please let us know here, or e-mail me about Baby Jane!!
I'm so sorry to hear about this.:( Prayers and positive thoughts are on the way for Baby Jane. She'll let you know when her time has come. Please take care.
So sorry to hear about Baby Jane. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please give us an update.
Byron,
From someone whose family has nursed many cats through various cancers, a visit to the oncologist is strongly recommended. At least listen to the options. They will tell you if the cancer is too far progressed to do anything. Also, Prednisone can take up to a week to work in kitties, especially if they have already stopped eating and are becoming weaker. My parents cats that have had cancer have benefitted from surgery and lived another year to two years, with some fluids needed along the way, but definitely had the quality of life we wanted for them all the while. It's just so hard to see them suffer in the beginning and it's hard when the costs start to add up, so you have to do what's right for you and Baby Jane. You and Baby Jane are in my thoughts and prayers. My kitty, Baby, sends Baby Jane purrs and kisses.

Has anyone received any news from Byron on how Baby Jane is doing?

still waiting for some updated news. I'm getting worried.
No, I even PM'd him last week with no response.
I just found his e-mail address and asked him to either respond to me or here. Hopefully he will. I sure hope he is ok and things are good with Baby Jane.
Will let you all know if I get a e-mail.
I hate to say this, but this doesn't look good since no one has heard any news on Baby Jane.
Oh perish the thought.
i am so sorry to hear that,I have a cat that is survivor of cancer,at the time she got hers,i was just laid off my job and was around her alot,as she is my little devotee she is in my face every morning to get her daddy up.Well,1 day i noticed there was a lump (like a little zit but not a whitehead)well i watched it for a couple days,it grew,So i took her to the vet,who determined it was cancer, and we lasered it off, but,it came back,i will post the picture of her with in,you can see she is not feeling well in this picture. But,the Dr said we need to cut most of her ear off,and thats been 8 months ago and she is cancer free and doing well,I hope yours gets better, there are miracles that do happen.
posted is Picture of Polly before her surgury with cancer in right ear.

I'm so very sorry to hear this, poor Baby Jane!
I think I would also talk to the oncologist, but agree with those who say quality over quantity.
But it's hard, it's so very hard... :(
