When my older bro was young , we had a spotty dog. My bro was not the best at saying the (S) and said (F) instead......"I have a dog and him name is "Fot"

When the Blue Merle came many years later, I could not call him anything else but " Phott".

My Bro has always had dogs with markings......he just loved those spots.
