I know they are your family, but some people are just unkind. I don't understand how people can make these comments when they know how much we love our furkids.
Ignore ignorant, uncaring people. We care, we know she's a doll and that Luna is worth the world. :)
I cannot imagine how anyone can think a kitten is ugly. I never saw an ugly kitten (ok -I have seen some ugly human babies:rolleyes: but I never expressed it:cool: ).
And Luna : yes a cat is a cat and in my live there comes first my husband and then 2 cats. And then some more humans.
And to modify some Kipling:
cat is cat and man is man
-and it is a wonder both can meet

Kirsten, I don't know this man and I agree that what he said it's awful, but maybe he was just trying to tease you (in the stupid way)? Or maybe, I am trying to see him as a better person than he really is?
Anyway, don't pay attention to such comments. I met a guy once and he liked me very much, well, I liked hime too, but when he said - I hate cats! and wanted to tell me a story of what they were doing to cats when they were kids, I said - I am not interested in a cruel, stupid man. If you can hurt a cat, you can do that to a person too. And I just walked away.
I cant add much more really, except to say, the new kitten is beautiful, what kitten isnt, some people are just plain blind.
I know exactly how u feel about Luna and how worried you are , ive just been through it all with Lexie, and ive been feeling sick myself, i feel as much for my furbaby , she is part of my family. I hope luna is ok.
Honestly! That is so impolite ... v&j could be right, but what he said was still rude! I've seen some rather ugly human babies, but it would be commiting social suicide to admit as much!
Ignore it, is what I say. Those kind of comments are designed to make the recipient react. Lily is beautiful, Luna is prescious. You know this. We know this. That's all that matters!
Well, he isn't a bad person actually, even has a cat and a dog of it's own, and I wouldn't say they have a bad life, but he has this "old-fashioned views" on how to treat animals, so we will never agree.
