2 guys I work with have ACD's--they have so much energy!!! But they are such beauties!!!

Hello, I am Australian and have owned 2 true Blue Cattle Dogs, I hope you have the strong upper hand ( not in hitting) in being in control, as these dogs do love to train their owners. Enjoy, learn and love them, as they will repay you 1,000 fold..they are a good dog. Regards Michele

I know what you mean about the "upper hand" as he tried to push us around and when we reprimanded him it took a couple of times. He is catching on now, but as much as he LOVES[B] the children he tries his "bossyness" on them more now because he knows he can.
We don't believe in hitting....our children or our animals.
I don't think he's 100% Heeler...I believe he is about 75% and the rest is either German Shepherd or Terrier...probably German Shepherd though. He has certainly taken after the Heeler side though...in size, looks and way of thinking.
I can tell you no matter where we go, he is always with us and EVERYONE who sees him says he is very beautiful and sweet.
