Awww, I'm so jealous of you!!!!!!! How did you convince him????!!!????!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D
Here's what happened to me one day at Petsmart:
Me and my mom and my dad went to Petsmart one day. We saw a beautiful cat we all liked (well, I liked). She was exactly the same age as our Blueberry at that time, and it was also around my birthday. I really really wanted to get her, and my parents talked to the guy there for so long. The guy kept on telling my parents that we should get another one, because two is like nothing, and we could handle it. Well, after talking about it for a long time with that guy, my parents decided to leave and they said "we need to think about it". and that was it, now when I ask, they would say no:( I was really convinced that we would get that kitty, and I thought they would get her for my birthday, but they didn't. I was really sad. I still am, that I can't get another one.
But I'll never give up, every time we go to Petsmart, I keep on annoying them about getting another one.
Oh well, but I'm really happy for you! If that happened to me, I would be VERY happy too.

Change of Plans....
There has been a change of plans. I know my cats wont be able to deal with Gracie AND kittens in the closet. Click here: http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...threadid=25695 to see why. :)
Bluekat,
I have an idea. After Oliver, I promised that I would do EVERYTHING for the cats. I buy the food, bowls, toys, take them to the vets, CLEAN THE LITTER BOXES, get up at 2:00 AM when I hear them making noise. EVERYTHING. That really helped in the bargaining....The only thing David does is get the litter for me. It comes in 40 lb tubs and I cant lift them. He doesn't mind that part.
:) I hope you get another kitty. More is merrier. :) :D :)

I really don't know why my parents don't want another cat,I can't think of a reason. Well, my mom does want another one, but there's probably because there's so many little reasons why she doesn't want one. There's always too much fur everywhere. Well, only on clothes and sometimes in our mouth:p, and Blueberry always follows my mom around. He goes in between her legs, and she could hardly walk. She hates that. Going down the stairs, he would just sit there in front of her, and its easy to trip on him. I really don't think that's the reason why, so I don't know the real reason. They say its not the money, and we do have enough space, and I clean the litter box every night, and groom him everyday, feed him, I do everything. But they do have to help me cut his nails and a few times give him a bath.
But that stuff is not really a big deal, and my parents seem to love Blueberry realy much. I just don't have any clue why they can't let me get another one.:(
They said that when I'm older and get a place of my own, I could get as many as I want.
Or maybe its just that we're too busy?
Thanks for trying to help:) I try telling them that I'll do everything, see if it'll work.
