TERRIFIC Tadpole!
Love your name!
Love your story... imagine walking up to a hunter in the woods... who doesn't even really like cats, climbing up and making a new FURiend! What an act of bravery!
Tadpole, you are an amazing guy!
Our Moony who was also a COTD... Was a little barnkitty and when my hubby-Randy reached down into the appliance box that he was in, he climbed up his arm and sat on his shoulder and touched Randy's beard! Randy was so imPURRessed by his gesture that he earned himself a home with us as well!

So to you bold boys who know how to pick out a good PURRson... I say 3 cheers for the COTD!

What a great kitty. He's so friendly and fearless, though, it must be worrisome when he is outside. Good luck to the Tadpole Of The Day.

Congrats Tadpole, you certainly deserve being our cat of the day! How brave you were, lost in the woods and all! You sound like quite the joy to have around! And did I forget to say handsome too!:D
-
My goodness! What were you doing out there in the woods by yourself? You were very brave and daring to approach a hunter.
What a pretty boy you are Tadpole! I love those white whiskers on your black fur. Please be careful outside and play safe. Happy COTD to you sweet Tadpole.
-
Tadpole, if I found you out in the woods, I would have to bring you home also! What a charmer you are!
Congrats on your special day.

You adorable, energenic TUXEDO TREE TADPOLE, I just love your precious photo and bio! Look at your "ready for action" expression and pose in that tree! You seem like such a lovable little character to live with!!! I want to knock on your door with those Kindergarteners and ask if you can come out and play too!!! Do be careful outdoors though, Sweetie!!! Hope you had a wonderful Tuxedo Day!!!! :p

If I could get Tadpole up here, I'd throw him into my aquarium and see what kind of frog he would grow into - probably one that would eat my fish. Heck, he'd probably eat the fish while he was still in the tadpole stage.
Good story, by the way - and charming photograph.
I was also struck by the reference to Margaux, the "American Eskimo." I know a good many American Eskimos, and not one of them is a dog. They are all human. Until reading this post, I had never heard of a breed of dog called "American Eskimo," and so I googled the phrase and found out that not only does this breed of dog have nothing to do with Alaska - or the Inupiat or Yup'ik peoples - but it originated in Germany!
Myself, I think the breed was poorly named, and someone ought to change it.

Tadpole-great name! We're getting cool names for the Cats of the Day. I love your tuxedo coat.

Hey, there, Tadpole!
Grasshopper the California Tuxie here, sending greetings, noserubs and headbonkies your way!! With many thanks to Sandy Frost (Baxter, Tigger and Yuri's mom) for emailing my human and getting her off her one-track-work-only-mind and back to more important things - like checking out and posting to our wonderful Cats of the Day! And, yep, Sandy was right, we could be related! Who knows, being a dock cat, what port my family started out at?! Your life sounds wonderful, I'm soooo glad for you! You represent us Tuxies well, too, as you are very handsome! And I loooooove your name! Hope your Special Day was full of visits from kids and playtime with your family!
