Millie is adorable. And George, you are doing very well to accept her this quickly. Keep that camera out for I'm sure you will soon be able to take pictures of them playing and snuggling together, and grooming one another. Thank you for giving this pretty kitty (and handsome George, too) a home.

She reminds me of a shorthaired version of my cat Sara.. Here's Sara's pic :D

She is the most beautiful tortie I have ever seen! Congratulations !
We are a multicat household, five to be exact, but I don't have any advice to offer you. We had been extremely lucky introduicing the new members, they get along from minute one!
Oh well, Little Pericot the newest one hissed a couple of times to the residents but after five minutes, no more, he was already playing with our flyffly Ginjol.
Koxka, the girl, compains about everything and everyone...so it doesn't count. :D
It seems things go quite good at your home too .George even let her share his bed and was relaxed enough to take a nap,! So I presume he is not very worried about Milly. So I would say let them go their way.

Oooh! Millie is so precious!! Congratulations on your new addition. I'm sure she will thank you for giving her a good home!!! :D

Milly is a stunning kitty. Congratulations on her addition to your family. I hope she and George will become the best of friends (as well as siblings).

Wow what markings! She is a beauty! I just love these early 'getting acquainted' pictures. George looks like a sweetie. Pretty soon they will be best buds, I'm sure! ;)

I WANT ANOTHER CAT! WAHHHHHHHHHHH!
Lucky!

What a face! I love Milly! And George for being so accepting. It is probably too late to tell you this, since your bed time is way past this now...and you have probably already woken up to one or two skirmishs...but, I woulda and still would separate them for maybe one week, if neither of you are at home. Just to be safe. I think things are going great, if they are already sleeping in such close quarters..but, they are still animals (I hate to admit that), and you dont know what might happen when you aren't around to supervise. Good luck, and keep the photos coming!!!!
I am curious how/why you chose your name...I like it.

Congrats on the new arrival.
The new kitty is just the cutest - she looks like she needs to grow into her paws!!
George seems to be taking it like a real trooper - he is a really handsom boy!!
Well done for supporting your local animal shelter too - it makes me sad that there are so many gorgeous animals just waiting around to share all their love and cuteness with some lucky human! At least this is one more precious kitty out of the system and into a good home!
I had a chat with Ally and asked if she would like a "widdle bruvver or sistur"
And she sez: "Dont be silly meowmy - how can u have two kitties wen u only have one LAP"?????
-
Oh George! I love your new little sister!!! She is a CUTIE!! Its so nice to see you are getting along already....what a good boy! :)
Mildred, I just love your name! You are a pretty little girl! Welcome to Pet Talk little one. ;)

She is beautiful!!!
I am glad they are settling in so well!! YEAH!

Cataholic...
We did seperate them last night. George slept on our bed as usually and Milly slept at the top of the landing (Her choice as she has a cat pillow downstairs)
PS. I choose my name after the excellent book and film of the same name. Everyone should help people if possible.
Milly had to be called Mildred as in 'George & Mildred'

I love Millie's face and white paws and bib. She reminds me of a former foster, Spliffy.

PayItForward,
Milly is beautiful!!! I have a special place in my heart for torties. My oldest kitty, Mollie Rose, is a tortie (9 years old on Mother's Day). She is the most laid back mellow cat I have ever been owned by.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! WELCOME MILLY!
I think you're wise to separate them when they can't be supervised. If not for Milly's safety, but also for George. Although from what you posted, it sounds like they're on their way to a long happy life together.
