Oh Kelly! *hugs* Just the sound of those tests freaks me out! I hope its nothing serious. You know, many of your friends might miss this out if they don't come to the cat side. I would have missed it if I didn't drop by. Please get well soon! I'll be thinking of you!

Kelly, we will be thinking of you and sending our positive thoughts in your way. I've had endoscopy done on me and I was awake, I wish I wasn't though. Feel free to PM/email me if you want to. All the best wishes for you Kelly!

Kelly, I'll be thinking of you on the 26th and hoping that everything goes well. The good news is that your medical people are closer to finding out what's causing your problems - which means the treatment shouldn't be too far away now :) Good luck {{{hugs}}}

You are in my prayers, Kelly!!
My sister had a colonoscopy last month. They sedated her, and she didn't feel anything! So, keep your hopes up, hey!
Good luck!!

Kelly, Pam is right. You will not be alone, we will all be here with you, keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
I hope that things turn out ok with all the tests.

Kelly, the tests sound more scary than they actually are. Once you are out you will not even remember having them done and it will help to solve the mystery of your GI problems.
If you are interested there are gluten-free cookbooks available that will help you come up with foods that you can eat with Celiac disease.
Our thoughts are with you and everything will turn out fine.

Kelly,
As I've told you in PM's, my mom went through all this many years ago. These are quite common procedures and the best thing is you will be in 'la, la land' because of the seditives!
They're doing both the colonoscopy & endoscopy on the same day? Well, at least you are receiving their 2 for 1 special! :p :D
Don't stress yourself too much, the waiting is the worst part. Hopefully the info I passed on helped calm your fears somewhat!
;)

Kelly,
You poor girl. Prayers on the way from Michigan! Hang in there sweetie!

We at the lost cats hotel send Headbumps , Kisses and of course our prayers ! Get Well Soon!
-
I've had both done, and having them done at the same time is the best thing. That way you only have to prepare yourself one time, you only have to go under one time, and they get it all over with at once. I was put under and didn't remember or feel a thing. Good luck to you. To me the worst part is the night before preparing for it! Let us know how it goes.

My prayers are with you Kelly. It won't be as bad as you think. Once you wake up it will be over!
I have 4 friends with Crohn's!! All of them live normal, healthy, happy lives.
Best of luck to you.

Prayers for you and some lovely healing energy your way.
I have been through both and they sedated me. I had the same problem as you.
The found out 2 years later ( I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome <- words Doctors use for "we have no idea") that I have a yeast allergy (quite severe) when they did a coeliac test. I am happily off the yeast now and the pains have mostly cleared up (along with other things graphic that won't be discussed).
If you need help with diet etc ... pm me I am more than happy to help.
