Color Changing Basie

I love Basil!:D He really is one of a kind!:)
I forgot, did you get him from the shelter? Were there any siblings or info on his mother or father? I am really curious about his background.

We rescued Basie from PetSmart. He had a littermate that was all fluffy gray. Strange, huh?

She didn't know anything about the parents as they were found in a back yard somewhere. We think he has some Korat in him...because his personally is exactly like that...and his size, build and body shape. His undercoat is a powder gray.

Thanks everyone, I'll be sure and pass all your sweet comments on to Basie. :D

Changing AGAIN?!?!?! :eek: Maybe he's jealous of Olivia! :p He's a handsome cat whatever color he turns out to be!

Ps. Is he full grown yet?

He'll be 10 months on March 29th. So, he may grow some more, but I doubt it. Korat's eye's change color when they are two...so I'm eager to see that. :D

Kelly, Basil is gorgeous no matter what color his fur is. :) Maybe his fur changes color with the seasons. You should start a journal and write down all of his info so then later you can go back and see if his color changes during the same time each year. :)

Thanks for the pics Kelly. :) Basil sure changes colors a lot. At least his personality doesn't change. :) He's still as sweet as ever. :)

Kelly, thanks for posting the pictures of Basil`s different coat colours. It really is so incredible the way his coat colour changed in such a short time, and is still changing! What an interesting cat! Besides being stunningly gorgeous of course!:)

I told Basie last night that he needs to stay gray...we already have two black kitties. ;)
