I became Aunt last night!

Congratulations Leslie!! He's beautiful. The one great thing about having a nephew is you can spoil the heck outta them then send them home :D!! I know, I did this with mine. He's now 33 years old, drop dead handsome and married.

Wow! He is REALLY beautiful! Most newborns are quite ugly (to me anyway) but he is so perfectly formed. What a great head of hair!!

Thank you so much everyone :) I am really thrilled. He is the first baby in my family, so you can bet he's going to be much loved. I saw him again tonight and he was actually awake. I had not seen his eyes open yesterday, but he was alert this evening. He's so good and quiet, I can't believe it. I still have not heard him cry yet, but my brother assured me that he is quite capable of crying :) He's so adorable and soft and sweet smelling. He's just precious :)

congratulations, to you and your family! that's just wonderful, a new baby! and he is absolutely adorable, so precious! it is great becoming an aunt the first time isn't it? I first became an aunt at only 11, my brother being 9 years older than me, and when my neice was born I said alright, a girl!! (too many boys in my family) later when I was older and became an aunt again, it is even better, and like moosmom said, you can spoil thenm and then send them home
