Sorry about your Aunt and the tough time your Dad is going thru.
When my mom was in a nursing home I brought Sadie to see her. I never asked and was never kicked out so I guess it was ok. I think it's awesome that your Aunt's home is keeping her dog - sounds like a good place especially since you rarely hear anything nice about nursing homes!
