Lots of love and prayers for Murphy.
Murphy is in my thoughts and prayers.
Sending love and hugs to all of you.
Chris
Here are some pictures of Murphy that Helen took yesterday. The "other" dog is Lilly in the picture with her. As you can tell by the dirt on the carpet, this is the "main" sleeping area for everyone!!! I can't wait to rid myself of that carpet!!!!! :)

Dear Murphy, you're even MORE beautiful than I imagined!! You listen to your Mama now and do your best to get well very soon. SO many people love you beautiful Labbie girl!! Love, Aunt Sandra, Star and Cody.
Helen and you are mind readers for sure because as I was reading the posts I was thinking about asking for another picture of Murphy. I am so sorry that an operation is necessary but better that than *this is inoperable*. So sweet how the whole gang gets along and likes to hang out together. We're all rooting for this loyal lab, who has won our hearts as well.
Oh, Murphy, you are so lovely, I just want to give you a big hug and kiss that adorable face. Prayers that you get better very soon sweet girl.
Chris
Logan,
I have to apologise. I had never seen Murphy before now.:o
She is a beautiful labbie lady & I surely will offer many prayers
for a complete recovery for this sweetheart. I loved the pics,
especially Lilly & Murphy sharing naptime together.:) Please
update on Murphy whenever you can. Hugs & prayers for her.
:( :( Poor, sweet, adorable, precious Murphy, (Cody's long-lost cousin) Logan, Scott and Helen, you know my heart goes out to you as well as {comforting hugs} I certainly know how you feel, sick with worry. Gazillion prayers your way for successful surgery and recovery. Ya gotta love these endearing seniors. I'll be thinking of you all 24/7...Love, Karen
Absolutely no need for apologies, Liz. I think I only posted a picture of her once, comparing Karen's Cody to Murphy and Scout (my parent's girl). They all look so much alike. In fact, I have taken some more pictures of Murphy recently, but they have to be scanned to be seen and we don't seem to have that capability at the moment, although I thought I married into a scanner!!! :)Quote:

Thank you, everyone, for your support. She is going to be ok. I just know it!!!!! :D
It breaks my heart even more, after seeing Murphy's picture :( :( He truly reminds me of Karen's Cody .. There's just something about senior dogs .. It's full of love and emotions ... Seeing Murphy and Lilly together are just so adorable..
Logan - I'm sorry but all along I thought you only have Honey and Lilly... Murphy is so precious , i wish him so well...
I'll continue to pray for him...
{{{MURPHY}}} from Rosebel,Rosebel and Toby
Rosebel, Honey and Lilly have been with me since they were 6 weeks old. Murphy was Scott's dog since she was six weeks old. This past summer, when we started dating, Murphy started staying with me a lot when Scott traveled. I just hated the thought of her being in a kennel when she could be with us. She has quickly and easily become one of my brood because I have had so much interaction with her, especially since I work from a home office and she is here all day with me. She is definitely less trouble than the others!!! LOL!!! :D
Please, please, don't feel badly about not knowing about her. Scott and I have only been married for six weeks now and I am just now remembering to put her name in my responses and signatures. Yesterday, Scott said something about "his dog" and his responsibility to pay for her surgery. "HOGWASH", I said, and let him know quickly that she is "our" dog. I've been loving her for almost 7 months now and consider her mine. I know he doesn't want to claim Butter, our cat, but he considers the others "his" too.
Murphy's surgery has been scheduled for this coming Monday. I am relieved and nervous at the same time. We don't have to wait, but it is happening fast. I think it is best to have it done on a day when we can be at home to watch over her. Monday was the day. Hopefully, she will be feeling "chipper" by her birthday on Friday!!!! One can hope, right??? I certainly am!!!! :)
Prayers are appreciated. We love this precious girl so much.
Logan
Murphy!!! - aren't you simply gorgeous!
Prayers, kisses and paw crosses coming your way!
Murphy, you are such a beautiful senior!!! Many prayers will be said for you on Monday. Little miracles, please, little miracles.
Rosebel.
I didn't really know about Murphy either and I felt so aweful,
like "where the heck had I been to not know this":o
Murphy is a beauty isn't she? I love senior dogs. They have
so much grace & character about them.:) We'll all be praying
for Murphy's surgery to be a complete success this Monday,
and that she has a wonderful birthday celebration Friday. Liz.
