What better form of art is there than a beautiful cat? I'd say this artist truly appreciates cats as works of arts... and bet he has even painted a few!!! ;)

"Debbie -- I don't know which I am more envious of...you working in a neighborhood that has such interesting establishments (unlike ther very sterile suburbs!)or getting to look at darling cats to and from work!"

When I came in this morning, Snowy was not in his favored "table" spot in the sun, but was on the floor, right in the middle of a rug that was all messed up. Kinda like this

But much more messed up. :D
Must have been some "mouse" action earlier this morning. Either that or the evil rug monster has invaded North Ave. :D :D
The big picture window that he is sitting in in the other pics faces East, so the morning sun is always streaming in by the time I get to work, and there sits Snowy, with that blissful "I adore the sun" look on his face - as he relaxes amidst the disheveled rug. ;) :D
Unfortunately I didn't have my camera. :( I bought another card reader so all I have to do is bring the CompactFlash card to work instead of the whole camera to get the pics off. I'm beginning to realize that was a big mistake. ;) :)
Snowy is really quite the character. :D Last night when I left work, the owner of the Gallery had a "client" or someone in. The owner was sitting on the ledge (where Snowy is sitting in the last pic of him) and the "client" was sitting in a chair off to the left. And where was Snowy? Well, he was sitting right on his table perch, making sure the client didn't make any moves on his dad. ;) :D It was so funny to see him there "supervising" the transaction. :D
Then when I came in this morning, he was on his table perch, right next to the glass vase with fresh flowers - taking a bath!!!  Fortunately I had my camera handy.

It boggles my mind that that vase is still in one piece! Either the vase is nailed to the table, or Snowy is very graceful - and careful! - and makes sure he doesn't knock it on the floor. :D
Nice photos! I want to know when you are going to walk into the store and ask if he has any cat paintings.(Good icebreaker to get on the subject of cats);)
That way you can find out how many cats there are and what their names are.:)
Edwina's Sec, I think I was the one who liked the name Snowy when KAK was looking for a new cat. I will PM you a story about that name.;)
