Yeah Karen, you're right. I do try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Usually when I hold the door for someone and if they don't say "Thank you" I say "You're welcome!" I always get a funny look, but make my point.

I'm so glad you said something though! Maybe when she cools off, she'll realise that she was unnecessarily rude to someone and might just take it easier next time.Quote:

I really hate it when people are snappy because then it puts you in a foul mood for the rest of the day.
I remember last year when I went to the Westminster Dog Show I was in the back were you can go and pet all the show dogs. Accually most people wouldn't even let me touch their dogs. It was a bad experience. anyway, there were alot of working dogs there (seeing eye dogs, search & rescue ect) Well my mom and I were walking around and I saw this adorable Boxer puppy with a vest on, so being me of course I bent down to pet him and the lady holding the dog turns around and Yells " don't pet him, what are you doing?" Then she turns to the other lady she was with and says"Whats the matter with people around here can't they read! She's like the 100th person today" Thats when I noticed that the vest said DONT PET ME but the way the dog was standing when I first saw it you couldn't even see that it sad anything! I couldn't beleive how rude she was. She didn't have to say it like that. It pretty much ruined my whole day. I take everything too personally.
OMG! i would spaz! thank goodness nobody has ever said anything like that to me, i soppose the woulnt dare when you got a big 100 pound dog sitting next to me, i mean he's nice, but they dont know that,;) besides everybody knows me VERY well in the vets office.
