Have you tried whispering to your cat?

LOL! I can just picture it! :D ;)

I also whisper to my cats and talk baby talk to them too. They really seem to enjoy it. :) Sometimes they'll meow back or look like they're smilling at me. :)

amusing thread! I love to whisper so of course, I whispered a lot to them, they just LOVE it! Everytime I come up to them, and whispered "hey sweetie", "hey, how are you doing?" they just had their eyes opened and PURRRRRED like a motorboat! But also streching with one paw, put her/his left or right paw on my nose then go back to sleep...grr! I wish I have that so wonderful bed-time stories! But when they do that, I just want to squeeze them for how so cute they are!

I also whisper to my cats all the time tell them "how pretty they are," "how sweet they are," and tell them all my secrets." Usually they just start purring.

I whisper to Katie and Simba all the time.

Sure! I whisper to the Kitty all the time! She just purrs and looks at me!

That's Katie outside and Simba inside.

I talk and whisper to my two cats and the pup all the time.

The cats will chirp , squeak, mratt and all kinds of noises.
They have quite the interesting vocabulary =>
They really like holding conversations while snuggling with my wife and I.

And they get quite loud or musical depending on the tone of the question or statement :p

The pup is strong and silent and would rather play or snuggle:)

how funny. I will have to try that and see how they react.
