Keep your chin up...Yum Yum will return.
Well we went to the animal shelter and no luck :( it was sooo sad. :(
Oh no! I'm sorry. Keep looking. I'll keep my fingers crossed and send positive thoughts your way.....
Come home YumYum!!!!
Did you refer to these excellent tips?
Sorry that YumYum wasn't waiting for you at the shelter - but there are a LOT of other places she could be. Time to start Beating the Bushes!Quote:

First thing you need is some good Lost Cat Posters with a good photo of YumYum, a description, and phone numbers where you can be reached or folks can leave a message. A cell phone number is good *IF* you always have it turned on and *carry it WITH you*.
See: "Get the Word Out" for tips.
Make up your posters and distribute them ~
> to the Police (one for each cruiser)
> to the Shleters and Animal Control
> to the SCHOOLS - kids make great Lost Pet Hunters
> on Post Office bulletin boards
> to the Post Office Carriers
> to newspaper delivery persons
> on or in every store, gas station & office within a mile or two
> to ALL your Neighbors - cover at least a half mile in all directions. Leave a poster at every house! Cary a roll of Scotch Tape - tape a poster to the door if you can't hand it to someone. (Hint: Do NOT put the poster in a US Mail Box - Post Office gets *testy* if stuff in *their* box doesn't have a stamp!)
YumYum may wander home on her own - but chances are she's either lost and hiding near someone's home; or she's been *rescued* and is locked inside someone's home...
You need to get EVERYONE looking for her - be sure the picture(s) you put on the flyer are a good likeness of her.
GOOD Luck - and don't give up!
Oh my goodness!! I sure hope Yum Yum finds her way home soon! I know how frantic you must be not knowing where she is. Cinder & Smoke posted some good resources that might be useful for you. Don't give up!!
Prayers are on the way that Yum Yum returns soon!!
**hugs**
Karen
Good luck in finding Yum Yum. Hopefully she's just hiding somewhere and is waiting for you to find her. Fingers crossed she is found soon. Please keep us updated.
Poor Yum-Yum. Have you had a chance to do a door-to-door search yet? Also, check any local vets/clinics?
A lot of cats that go missing have gotten themselves locked in a garage or shed or something.
We'll keep fingers and paws crossed.
Oh no! :(
I'l be sending lots of prayers and positive thoughts your way that you find sweet Yum Yum.
I agree with Phred....check lots of bushes. Have you put up fliers yet?
Poor Yum Yum, please come back. A lot of people are really missing you.
It is so hard when cats are allowed outside, there are so many reasonsmthey can't return and so many things that can happen to them
But on the possitive side, a co-worker of my husband had her cat missing for 3 weeks when it all of a sudden showed up at her doorstep so there is always hope
Thanks again guys for all your thoughts and prayers...We have checked the local animal shelter and did a lost card on her. She wasn't there of course. :( We also put up flyers on our neighborhood bullentin board that is at the entrance of our neighborhood. Our neighborhood is kind of in a wierd place. There isn't any other neighborhoods around it. It is very far from the main road and there are woods in back of us. She loved to play in those woods and I think something may have happened to her there. That was the last place we saw her heading into the woods that night. :( We have also walked around the neighborhood but no luck there either. :( We are going to check the animal shelter one more time on saturday.
Oh, no!!:( All of us here will be thinking positive thoughts and will be praying with all our might that precious Yum Yum will soon be found. Don't give up hope. A couple of years ago we had a PT'er find her lost kitty after almost a year. Hopefully Yum Yum will be found long before that.
I'm so sorry to hear that Yum Yum hasn't showed up yet, but please, don't give up! Cats are such good survivors! I hope it's not too cold in your area!
One girl in our building "lost" her cat one year in february - she had given up hope, but the cat returned after 3 weeks!
Will send positive vibes towards Yum Yum and you!
The advice given already is really good - go for it! Best of luck! :)
SIGNS, PHONE NUMBERS, ASK YOUNGER KIDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!!! PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP SO SOON!!!
Thanks..I love the names of your kitties they are all so cute.
