Haiku February

Snow in the morning
The world gone white and still, pale
Sky descends in flakes

Time stops in a storm
Directionless whiteness makes
Sundials mute, useless

warm heater outlets
dog and cat take turns lounging,
absorbing the heat.

Dog makes trip outdoors
Feet cold fur wet with water.
Look out, yellow snow!:eek:

Sno flakes, all different
but one thing puzzles me.
White is standard hue?

Cold cat disappears
Hours pass, where has he gone?
On my bed, dreaming!

Microfleece blanket
protection against the cold
Shared with sleeping cat?

It has snowed all night
But it seems to have stopped now
For the time being.

All shoveled round one
Snow is still falling, though, my
Poor car has a mohawk

Long delayed justice
Competent assistance gone
No arbitration

A little respite

A crunchy layer
Snow that snaps crackles and pops.
