Thanks for the laugh.:) Yes, it's hairball season here too and it seems like the short haired cats are shedding more than the long haired cats. So far I haven't found that feeding a grain free diet prevents hairballs. Some of my cats used to like the malt flavored stuff but now they've changed it so none of them seem to like it any more. I have to open up their mouths and put it on the roof of their mouths while trying not to get biten in the process.

I've been brushing Buddy every day and have had barely any hacked up hairballs.
I'm feeding Nature's Recipe Hairball Formual this summer and brushing them regularly. Nature's Recipe is a grain free dry, I feel good about feeding it and I haven't noticed any hairballs so far.
That is SO funny!! Just the picture of that in my mind.......:rolleyes: (Pinot probably thought that was something Dad hacked up on her breakfast!:eek:)
