Glacier, I am so very sorry for your loss. Sophia sounds like she was a very special kitty. Do know that when one has been truly loved by a cat, one has been blessed, indeed. Love never dies and Sophia still loves you and is waiting until One Fine Day when you will meet again and she will assume her rightful place, next to your cheek.:love:
I am sorry to hear that another one of your dear friends has moved on to RB. It is a heart breaker for sure.
It sounds as though Sophia was ready for her trip and it was just a matter of her letting go.

I too had a face kitty who would lay on my shoulder holding my paw in hers and purr me to sleep at night. The memory is always with me.
