My colleagues tried to make the day extra special. They took me out to dinner last night and this morning brought me breakfast. It's one of the busiest weekends we've had all summer but they made an effort to get me out at a reasonable time. Then Rich surprised me by coming to visit. He actually baked me a cake and we spent the afternoon at the cider mill and then had a nice dinner.
While we were at dinner I found out that my great uncle died this morning. Then I felt guilty for spending the day at the cider mill, I wished I would have gone home to be with my family. My dad is taking it pretty hard, they were really close.
A day of mixed emotions :)
