I just read an article on it. Seems that Google is worried about the fact that 75% of members are male.

Nothing I have seen said they were "worried" about it, it was just an interesting piece of data. It's still in Beta, and by invitation only, so the membership is obviously going to be geek-skewed for the time being!

And I post that statement as an admitted geek who is most assuredly female.

Found you. There were three, but your location was listed also. :)

One +1 of Google+ over Facebook is you can share or post to different circles rather then everybody. I can share with both off roading groups or just one, or I can share to both Pet groups or just one. You can stream to every circle or some or just one. It has "hangouts" for video chats.
