It's true, it's sad that everyone needs to feel like they have to lose weight to look good.
However, MOST teens and women in general agree that models are disgustingly thin. I think people now more look at celebrities, that are thin but still have some curves, as their models.
I wish I looked like them anyways!!
My main focus, especially now that I'm in college and learning all about health, is to be healthy!! I could lose about 10 to 20 pounds. I'm 5" 5' and 155 lbs. But my main focus is to eat healthier. I eat out nearly everyday and never eat veggies (unless its on a hamburger:p) and not enough fruit. And exercise more!
People should want to lose weight (if they are overweight) to better their health. Don't worry about the number on the scale! Do it for your long term health. Even thin people can be much more unhealthy than those with a little meat on their bones.
