Awww, thanks, Pom! And Myndi, you can have all my peas and carrots, since I am allergic to them now, okay? Glad you found out what the deal is, and hopefully it can be managed, as you said, with diet.
One more kiss from me! Be glad you are down there though, pretty girl - you wouldn't be able to see over our snowbanks right now, even if you stood on top of your brother.
Best wishes and prayers for Myndi. I hope she does well on the new food.
Loving thoughts and prayers for all of you!
My daughter in law has a dog who is incontinent at night too and she finds it cheaper and just as efficient to buy generic newborn size diapers and cut a hole for the tail,,, just a thought:)
Ah well, age related. A sad but inevitable fact of life. I'm glad that Myndi isn't diabetic but I'm sure you would've handled it w/ease anyhow. W/all the love and care that you give your fuzzbutz, I'm sure that she has many more good years w/you yet, Ellie.
I am so glad this wasn't bad news for Myndi. Aging is the pits for both
furry & skinned, but it sure beats the alternative.;) Sounds like the change
in diet & a little TLC should help her a lot. (((Hugs)) to the little patient.:)
Ya' know - I had thought about the newborn disposable diapers, but then dismissed the idea. I had tried that when I had my Lhasa that was incontinent, and they wouldn't stay on and they leaked around the legs, etc. But then - that was back in the 80's  and the design of them has drastically improved since then, so they just might work. I have to go out tomorrow, so I'll just pick up a small pack at the dollar store and give them a try, and if they work okay - I can just send the others back. Or I can keep them and have her wear her "designer panties" - (they're denim), over the diaper - just to be stylish!!:p:D
And thanks so much for the thoughts and prayers. Everybody's concern and good wishes means so much to me!
So nice to have that power outage over and done with. Just read the update on Myndi and I'm so happy everything will be under control again. Now to find a way to stretch the dollars for that food...gosh that's so expensive, lucky she's a tiny little thing at least.
I knew the prayers would work, don't they always at the most crucial times? Hope Myndi has another long time with you.
Interesting to read about the 5 day antibiotic treatment for Sparky, glad that worked out too.
Poor little Myndi girl. It sucks that she has kidney disease, but It's really good to hear that she still has an appetite and is as happy as a little Pommie should be.
I'll keep her in my thoughts and hope for the best.
Give her a kiss on her nose for me!
I have no suggestions Pom, but I am so sorry to hear Myndi has kidney disease. You have my full support.
