May God grant her peace.
Rest in peace Elizabeth - you most certainly deserve peace.
RIP Dear Lady! The world will miss you! My sympathies got out to those that loved her, especially her children.
The dictionary had moved her picture next to the word "class".
RIP.:(
Oh that's sad :( I'm so sorry to hear that
I broke into tears. What an elegant, classy, beautiful woman, despite the tragedies in her life. I heard an interview in which she mentioned seeing her son Wade again when she passes, so she's not afraid. I still mourn my parents, as a grown adult. I can't imagine what her poor children are going through. There's another angel in heaven today.
WHAT a classy lady.
And what a precious gift she gave us: a beautiful example of how to live well and how to die well.
May she rest in peace. God bless you, Elizabeth Edwards.
One of the news channels said the President called her estranged husband and offered his condolences. Mine don't go to that cheating sneak in any way. They go to her children and friends and parents and siblings if she had any. What a brave and gracious lady.
:o Well at least everything is Past Tense for him now.. Hopefully he is not stupid to try to run for any other offices.. I cannot stand to look at the man..
I so did always Admire Elizabeth & loved to hear her talk.. I cried today watching her videos of her talks about death & all.. She was for sure a Hero.. She is in Heaven now with her son..

As Elizabeth Edwards' family makes the final preparations for her funeral, members of a controversial church known for picketing at the memorials of fallen soldiers, says they will protest outside her funeral.
Members of the Westboro Baptist Church are planning to disrupt Edwards' funeral Saturday, saying the wife of former Senator John Edwards is "going to hell" because she admitted to doubting her faith when her oldest son died in 1996.
Its rumored the Patriot Guard will be attending the service after the news of WBC's planned protest.
Glad the Patriot Guard will be there.
I saw this story on the WBC's planned protest...wish there was a national mental health act that allowed the whole lot to be rounded up and held for a 30 day assessment, and kept AWAY from each other.
