I hadn't heard of Labradoodle's until recently when one was up for adoption at a local shelter. I found this fuzzy guy on Petfinder and fell in love!!

Fortunately he has been ADOPTED!!!!
i read in some dog book that some country (i think australia) was using labradoodles as seeing eye dogs. i thought that was interesting. :)
Hello, I have an off white one. She is from a dam being a cream labrador retriever ( with the longish hair like golden retrievers) and a sire which was a white standard poodle. All their puppies look like my tiffany, with the poodle coat, very curly and non sheding. I went to a romp in Perth and I saw the most amazing different types of dogs that were called"Labradoodles"....alas, I found some to be small labradors and some to look like huge tall hairy elkhounds..........all lovely and all bouncy, bouncy like mine, but way too many different types, ,,,,,,,,,,,I was in shock, as not ever owning one before, I thought they were all the same. Some were- well, you could not tell the difference between a mini poodle and them, even had the hair cut to suit a poodle.
Gee, what a lovely picture, thanks Pam for showing the doodle
Wow, how very interesting...........it looks just like a big one, only in miniature, and is that a Foxy next to it?
what a lovely photo of your gorgeous puppy with your cat. Is that a golden retriever? it is so cute.
I like the scarf around your pup's neck. it looks really cute
well, some people, like myself, can not have a dog unless they are non shedding. I have had many poodles, but have lost them through in-breeding ( breeders call this 'Line Breeding') It has been told to me by my vet, that this is one of main problems, so after my last one dies, I did not wan't another, so my daughter found this and talked me into getting her. The best thing I did. .....I have done the rescue with poodles, all lost before they were mature due to a multitude of problems.
